About the Role

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a multiple junior and senior-level Software Developers to remotely support our federal customer in Bridgeport, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our customer's large-scale IT systems.

  • Security Clearance requirement (US CITIZENS): Secret Clearance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field)

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • Experience in software development on Linux-based operating systems

  • Experience supporting large-scale federal systems as part of Agile teams that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Experience with the development of software in on Linux-based systems

    • Languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java

  • Experience with cloud technologies - AWS preferred (e.g., AWS EC2 instances, AWS GovCloud, etc.)

Programming Languages:

  • JavaScript, Java, SQL, Python, XML, JSON and other web services related programming languages

Job Description

  • Responsible for developing software in Java and possibly other languages to support a large-scale IT system with Linux-based servers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud instances, and Oracle and/or Postgres Databases.

  • Responsible for developing software to completion with each sprint, as part of an Agile delivery team that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

  • Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.

  • Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

  • Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

  • Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.

  • Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.

  • Designs embedded systems software.

  • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
