About the Role

Team Trilogy currently is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to support our federal customer located in Quantico, VA. This is an exciting new opportunity to lead the redesign and modernization efforts. As a Senior Graphics Designer, you'll support the technical lead overseeing the new and existing, design, redesign, and support of the customer's public and internal facing UIs.


  • Top Secret Clearance is required (US CITIZENS)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field.

  • 4+ years' experience producing graphic design and content writing for executive-level audiences.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Experience receiving a written product and repackaging into a visual product.

  • Experience producing newsletters, presentations, and/or other communication products involving complex topics and graphics for all audiences-types.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-start and take initiative with minimal support or guidance.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational abilities.

Job Description

  • Determines scope, nature, and intended audience of the information being conveyed.

  • Serves as a specialist in creating and producing presentation materials, of advanced corporate level quality directed to specific audiences.

  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy selected style and size of type.

  • Plans projects and coordinates project resources, creates layout and design, and directly interfaces with other production personnel when applicable.

  • Analyzes and evaluates text to determine the best visual means to combine word and art to express a message tailored to a specific audience.

  • Advises customers in all areas of desktop publishing and graphic art production.

  • Develops projects, establishes schedules and target completion dates for each project.


The Graphics Designer/Illustrator develops, creates, and edits graphics material for reports, manuals, briefs, instruction manuals, and related technical publications concerned primarily with info graphics and technical products. This designer interviews technical personnel and reads journals, reports, and other material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods, and reviews product drawings and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and service of equipment. Ensures technical graphics are accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, format, and style. Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations or equivalent. Produces graphics and modifies existing graphics to support new or updated/modified graphics and technical products.
