Tim Young joins Trilogy as Red Hat PM consultant, business development advisor

Trilogy Innovations, Inc., has announced that Tim Young has joined the company as Red Hat Program Manager Consultant and business development advisor.
With more than 25 years of experience in enterprise IT operations and program management, Young brings a deep background in Linux and Unix engineering, data center management, and enterprise infrastructure modernization to Trilogy, along with a history of success leading high-performance technical teams supporting national security missions.

Young will work to improve collaboration across FBI and DOJ divisions to strengthen enterprise capabilities. He will also support business development for Trilogy and Red Hat by identifying and developing new opportunities with government agencies, helping expand Trilogy’s reach and deliver innovative solutions that support key federal missions.

In his new role, Young will lead initiatives to strengthen collaboration across FBI and DOJ divisions, driving enhanced enterprise capabilities and supporting strategic business development for both Trilogy and Red Hat. A key part of his mission will be identifying and cultivating new opportunities within the federal landscape to expand Trilogy’s footprint and deliver innovative technology solutions that advance critical national priorities.

Young comes to Trilogy from Edgewater Federal Solutions, where he served as deputy program manager supporting the FBI. He oversaw a nationwide engineering workforce of more than 90 people, spanning Linux, Windows, VMware, Network, and Storage disciplines. From a business development standpoint, he played a key role in program growth and contract performance, including developing and winning the $138 million FBI Data Center Support Services (DCSS) contract recompete.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Tim served eight years as a Cryptologic Technician, completing six submarine missions in direct support of national intelligence operations.
